Crayola Colours !

A cooler morning, we headed out to the Changi Museum for a casual stroll and bite before packing Connor's bags ready for his school's residential trip to Thailand.

For those of you not familiar with Singapore or our museums, The Changi Museum is located at the far east of Singapore and dedicated to Singapore's history during the second World War and the Japanese Occupation of Singapore.

What drew me most to this museum was the outdoor chapel where you feel the souls and presence of those who fought for the country and whose family still misses them dearly - judging from the many poppies and notes left at the chapel. There are many personal artifacts displayed in this museum which makes one feel extremely humbled and yet honoured to get to know these fallen soldiers.

A quick outfit post with the beautiful background this time - highlighting bright Crayola coloured pieces - just in line with Spring's trends.

Fashion Week's SS 2018 Must Have Dress Style :: Timeless Stripes

Stripes and Cami dresses are SS 2018's trends to look out for.

What better way then to combine these two trends in this  maxi dress especially for comfort and style as the humidity rises before we hit Summer.

A touch of colour to any outfit is a nice addition, and so I paired this look with beautiful bold orange sunglasses and matching tassel earrings.
Naturally a nice straw hat to keep out the sun and slippers in.... yes.... stripes!

Pink Sorbet

Living so close to a heritage site - where the buildings are under the Singapore government's conservation plans to preserve these ornately designed art deco style homes, I had to include these beautiful buildings in my post.

The brightly coloured shophouses provided the ideal colourful background to my pink outfit. A perfect match when I spotted the backdoor of one of these shophouses painted in the exact shade of my outfit!

Hope you enjoyed this Spring look and will most certainly bring more of this beautiful site of homes in our future posts.

Green is in the Air

A week of celebrations gone by in a blink of an eye. Eating, drinking and making merry is surely taking it's toll on me now. The waistline is expanding and I am feeling exhausted.

This week has also seen a surge in temperatures and whilst trying to keep the festive Chinese New Year mood going, I decided to pair this lovely chinese style top with a pair of embroidered skorts so I can still look the part and yet keep cool.

If Chinese New Year is not about being loud and gaudy, then we would not be feeling the mood that much. So I paired this outfit with my pom pom sandals just to up the notch.
